DUAL ENROLLMENT
Dual Enrollment
What is Dual Enrollment? Dual Enrollment is college credit for select high school courses. Dual Enrollment is offered through College Tech Prep and Northwest State Community College.
Currently, seniors enrolled in the Sylvania Schools Construction Technologies program are elegible for dual enrollment for the OSHA Ten Hour safety course, which is NWSCC course MET130 Industrial Safety. This is two credit hours.
NWSCC is evaluating Print Reading For Construction which would equate to MET 110 Printreading and Sketching for three credit hours. Our graduating seniors will have the opportunity to earn 5 college credit hours toward a two-year degree, without leaving our classroom.
